Teaching Update: October

In the month of October, the responsibility of the Middle Eastern dance class was left solely in my hand. I could handle it and I wanted to help, but my GOD how those students drive me insane. We managed to learn an entirely new dance in three weeks and perform it on Oct 25. I was very, very proud of my girls. Too bad I don't have a video for it. My instructor is still ill and will be out for the rest of the semester, but her subsititute, Sarah Cashmore is really nice and because of her (and "Serpentine" with Rachel Brice) I can now feel my abs. Thursday, we managed to muscle through most of the dance. There is only 30 seconds left to teach. I'm still debating if I will have enough to time to teach the advanced dancers their parts. I hope they learn fast.
