New Year, New Moves

So what that the title of this entry is unoriginal. So what? I am on my way to a better dance body. By better I don't mean smaller. I mean that will be able to do more with my body and take my dancing to another level. If I happen to get smaller so be it. Every workout starts with Yoga. Either Yoga for Belly dance from Rachel Brice's Serpentine or Yoga with Ester Ekhart on her YouTube Channel, Yogatic. I joined a blog called Move Your Booty. Every day, the author sends out motivational emails encouraging people to move their rear and get in shape. She shared with us a google spreadsheet so we can all track our workouts. There is a good side to this and a bad side. While looking at the spreadsheet, I noticed everyone did work outs like running 3 miles or something like that. Out of 14 people, I was the only one who did yoga or dance as my workout. I am also probably the only one who doesn't want to lose too much weight. I fear being small and skinny. Or being so thin that the places on my body that were full and luscious would then be saggy and weird. But I don't want to be one of those people who freaks out every time I lose weight. My goal is to drop a dress size or two. Definitely to drop a bra size and definitely to get rid of the thickness that is a result of being stressed out and then on holiday. No more sitting on my ass.
