So I went to Raqs La. It was kind of annoying because I didn't get there until 4:30pm. just enough time to say hi to Karin (artistic director of Mandala DanceWorks), my former instructor, walk around an shop and discover my wallet was missing. I immediately thought it was stolen. I looked all through my backpack for it but, alas, nothing.
I moped around until I got to Valentina's Belly Hoop Workshop. She's the daughter of Leela Martin, a pretty famous belly dancer. I'm writing about that for Belly Dancing Diva so I'll post the link to that later. Needless to say it was refreshing and when I woke up the next morning, my legs hurt. :)
My only regrets are that I now have to shop online so I don't get the good deals and that I had a Saturday class so I couldn't take Zoe Jakes, Kami Liddle or Moria's workshops. Oh I didn't get to see the Belly Dance Superstars*cries* Oh well...at least I got my wallet back.
